Solventum Impregum™ Penta™ Soft cartridge for Pentamix™ 3

With the Impregum™ Penta™ Soft cartridge from Solventum (formerly 3M) you mix and dispense Impregum Penta Soft automatically in the Pentamix™ 3. It is a reusable, metal-reinforced cartridge; according to the instructions for use, place the foil bags only in the Penta cartridge intended for them.

Impregum is a polyether impression material that the Pentamix mixes in a ratio of 5 parts base paste to 1 part catalyst.

The cartridges Soft Regular (P3787) and Soft Quick (P3775) are for Impregum Penta Soft and Impregum Penta Soft Quick. According to the instructions for use, both are medium-body materials with a lower Shore hardness, so they are suitable for impressions with slight undercuts, even without extra block-out. Impregum Penta Soft has the same times as Impregum Penta: 2:45 minutes working time and 6:00 minutes curing time from the beginning of mixing, of which 3:15 minutes intraoral. Impregum Penta Soft Quick has a short curing time: you have a maximum of 1:00 minute working time and the material always stays in the mouth for 3:00 minutes, together up to 4:00 minutes. According to Solventum, Soft Quick is especially suitable for impressions of one or two units.
